Another McKeon birthday down. This time it's patriarch Dennis Mckeon's turn. I think the name of this castle is Ashbury Castle. It is in Ireland which is one of Dennis' favorite places as his family is ver' ver' Irish. Also to be seen here is his love of tools, classic cars and pies. If you managed to get an invitation to our wedding you may have an opportunity to sample some of that pie. The picture of Dennis was taken in Italy while he shared a cigar with Michael in Portofino.

Song: You've Just Seen My Urine
I punched this one out today in about 6 hours. I had bigger ideas for this one but I just started having too much fun with some of the samples on my hard drive. I officially reserve the right to go back and redo this song. So, what was going to be a stereotypical stompy industrial song turned into pretty much that but in a retarded way. And I know 'retarded' is a rude word. I find it to be an uncouth word but I do have to acknowledge that it is a word and it has a meaning and a purpose. So I believe that I can call this song retarded and not be offensive and still be accurate.
Song: Marma
This is my most recent song that I've made. It was inspired by an episode of Monk. All vocal samples are taken from that episode. After letting a few people listen to it I've come to the realization that I am the only person at this point who has any idea what the samples in it are. I'll post them below.
"Oh" - beginning and end of song
"You can't believe how big this dog is" - 0:44
"He's Enormous" - 0:56
"He's a dog" - throughout second half of song
"He ate the whole turkey right off the table" - 1:54
"I guess we can forget about leftovers" - 2:02
"Oh, Marmaduke" - end of song

Picture: Happy Birthday Kevin
McKeon #2. Kevin's birthday just went by so Katie and I punched out this one here.
Kevin, as you can see, has a wide range of interests. Bicycles, Legos, chisels, Jones Soda, and composting toilets were all things we especially tried to work into this one. Usually I like to do something weird with the people but in this case I didn't feel I had to. The outfits were on these people in the original photo and I felt I couldn't really outdo that. Katie's and my characters were holding some sort of fliers originally so it made for a great opportunity to mix in Kevin's interests. And no, paradox's are not specifically one of Kevin's interests.

Picture: Happy Birthday Domenica
Now for Katie's family. The first birthday in a steady string of McKeons is Domenica. As a lover of pigs and Napoleon dynamite Katie and I churned this one out for her.
That's Domenica on the right. I'm a big fan of how Katie's face worked out in this one. I consider myself a bit of a cheat here because I actually took the photo of myself specifically for this picture. There's something much more satisfying about making one of these by finding all the sources in different contexts, beating to fit, and painting to match.

Picture: An Ode to Haley
There is a bit of a story behind this one. My cousin once removed (I do not know if that is the correct usage of 'once removed') Haley drew Katie and I a picture after visiting NYC for the first time. Here is a photo of the picture.
An excellent drawing that certainly takes me back to the fun time we all spent site seeing. As an ode and/or homage to Haley's work I used her picture as a basis for this next picture.
That is Haley as the Statue of Liberty sharing the skyline with her brother Sean. On the lake you can see my cousin Amanda being guided by her husband Scot on a boat ride. Katie and I lay in wait for opportunity to give them all rabies. This picture was by far the most time consuming and complicated one I've done. Also, I suck at it so there were many time consuming mistakes made. I worked on it while Katie and I watched 'Into The Wild' and I definitely missed major chunks of that movie.

Picture: Happy Birthday Grandpa
Picture: My First Time
Hello World.
Photo printer? Yes, it's what my dad got me for Christmas this year. Since then I have been churning out a fairly steady stream of Photoshopisms. This is an old hobby of mine and I'm sure laying around somewhere I have all my old work, which basically consists of adding penises into pictures of people I know. My spirit has been rekindled by the photo printer and a seemingly unending string of birthdays.
This was the first picture I made for the photo printer. I made it for my maternal grandmother as a Christmas Card. She is the meat in a Rob-Katie sandwich here. Also in the picture is my Aunt Janet who is playing the roller skating villain. Look closely to find another member of my family who has found the best hiding place.
